WWI French Adrian helmet painted horizon blue with an artillery insignia pinned to the front. The helmet is complete with the original chinstrap and 2nd pattern leather liner. On the crown of the helmet are two pistol impact rounds with one partial penetration but did not damage the liner. Since there are no further signs of the helmet being worn while it was shot, it is likely that the helmet was shot on a fence post. Either way, the helmet is complete, minus one arm of the artillery insignia and two comb rivets, and displays well as a possible battle damaged helmet.
