This is a phenomenal WWI cane to a soldier of the 135th (3rd Lotharingian) Infantry of the Imperial German Army. The 135th was formed on March 11th, 1887, garrisoned in Diedenhofen, modern day Thionville, France. It was part of the XVI Army Corps.

The cane is beautifully wrapped in rope bearing imperial German colors along the majority of the cane, still looking as it did over a century ago. The head of the cane is WWI era and bears an iron cross 1914 & two coat of arms for Wurrtemburg. The rope at the bottom of the cane stared to unravel slightly but seems to now be secured.

Measures 35".
