This is the uniform, dog tag, and ring of Clarence R. Rodeman, Company B, 117th Ammunition Train. Rodeman lived in Carthage, Missouri, and enlisted in the Army on April 19th, 1917, being assigned to Truck Company 2 of the 117th Ammunition Train, 42nd Division.

The uniform has U.S. & Transportation collar discs, a hand-embroidered 42nd Division patch, and two overseas chevrons. There is scattered mothing throughout the uniform with the majority being on the back of the uniform. In the pocket are one of his dog tags, very worn, and a ring he wore with the Army of Occupation.

This is a very nice identified uniform for one of the most difficult-to-collect divisions of the AEF.
