This is a framed WWI-era USMC war service certificate named to Charles Eich. Eich enlisted in the USMC on May 29th, 1918, and was stationed at Parris Island & later Newport, Rhode Island during his enlistment. He was discharged on April 16th, 1919.
There is also a large photo of U.S. marines parading in Newport, Rhode Island in the frame, which belonged to Eich and was included in the frame, as he was stationed in Newport. This is a great certificate with a great period photo of marines marching.
