WWI French Army horizon blue field jacket that would have belonged to an unnamed enlisted infantry solider. The jacket does feature the French Grenadier insignia on the collar but is void of any additional unit or divisional insignia. The uniform was likely repurposed post war having the buttons replaced with buttons for the National Gendarmerie which is one of the two law enforcement agencies that operate in France still to this day. The uniform itself is in good but period condition with some localized moth holes present as well as overall general wear or grime from heavy use.
