WWI souvenir tapestry made in the German town of Bad Neuenahr which was occupied by the 42nd Div and dated 1919. It is multi-piece construction with a black velvet backing with bullion tape running the edges with decorative stitching highlighting with the insignia of the 3rd Army- known as the Army of Occupation- in the center bordered by bullion which is detached on the left side. Measures approximately 20” x 13.5”.
