WWI US Army enlisted corporal’s wool uniform with a 27th Div Liberty Loan shoulder patch above a red and yellow trench mortar insignia. During the war, the 102nd Trench Mortar Battery held the Verdun sector from Sep 8-25, 1918 and participated in the Meuse-Argonne Offensive from Sep 26 -Oct 21, 1918 and again from Oct 29 - Nov 11, 1918. The uniform is in great shape with all buttons present but three of the four front buttons are held on with safety pins and another has been resewn. Both collar discs were added to the uniform but are original discs.
